In Cornwall there are many, many tracks and roads going off to mysterious old hamlets and farms. Most have unusual names and the temptation to explore them is sometimes hard to resist. On this particular day I followed this track thinking it would eventually lead to Port Navas where we were staying. After a couple of miles it was curving round in the right direction, but I found myself trapped in a farmers field and had to climb over a barbed wire fence and fight my way through some overgrown woodland to come out on some other random track that led me back.
